MSI LLANDUDNO

For 22 years MSI has been highly successful in providing security for people and buildings. The company currently employs 18 staff and much of its growth has been generated by recommendations from satisfied clients. Located in Llandudno and principally serving markets across North Wales and Chester, MSI offers electronic systems such as intruder and fire alarms, CCTV, access control for homes and builings, and network solutions. The company holds gold accreditation with NSI-the UK's regulatory body and complies with quality management standard ISO 9002, as well as relevant European standards. Involvement with an independent group of companies known as Plexus, means that MSI is capabe of competing for work across the UK.

Through the Welsh Assembly Government's Local Supplier Developement Champion Nia Môn, MSI were made aware of a CCTV contract for which Welsh Health Supplies were seeking tenders. The contract was worth £12,000 to the company and as the work was completed within the specified timeframe and the client satisfied with the quality of the work, they are hopeful of securing similar contracts. The company recently installed a CCTV system for Caernarfon town centre.

"The contract, which was at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Rhyl was local to us and even though we seemed to arrive late on in the tendering process we were able to speak to the client and secure the contract. I am impressed with the help that we have received. All the advice we have had from our supplier champion Nia has been spot on" said David Hardman, the Managing Director.

MSI is registered on the Contract Shop and Sell 2 Wales websites and David Hardman found a recent Open Doors in a Welsh Assembly Government initiative aimed at fostering greater co-operation between SMEs and the public sector in Wales.
