Would you like to Win more Business?

A unique opportunity to meet with Department Buyers within the Council

…….including a Business Support Exhibition

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Local Supplier Development Project will be organising a Meet the Buyer event in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council on March 26th 2008 at the Heritage Park Hotel. As you are probably aware communication between departments within larger organization can be quite difficult! On this occasion we have discussed this event with Department Buyers from each of the service areas of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council who have agreed to meet with local businesses and discuss their forthcoming contracts for 2008/2009.

These service areas include Procurement, Environmental Services, CICT, Leisure Services, Corporate Estates and County Borough Supplies. Each department is responsible for their own spend when dealing with contract opportunities for goods and services.

Meet the Buyer

The event will consist of prearranged appointments between potential suppliers and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council Department Buyers. Suppliers will be selected for a 15 minute appointment if their business is relevant to the forthcoming Contract opportunities. There may also be a limit of 3 suppliers per contract - places allocated on a first come first served basis. A brief company profile will be required at the time of Booking.
