Wrexham based Rainbow Therapies have a strong history of providing holistic therapies to people across Wrexham and Flintshire over the past ten years.
For 2008, the company is excited to launch an entirely new service to the people of North Wales providing female workers with a fast, efficient and totally relaxing service at their workplace. Desktop Massage has arrived! This is an entirely new concept for the area for stressed women and men in any kind of workplace environment.
Rainbow Therapies can massage you at your desk, no fuss, no mess, no undressing. Most importantly, they slot right into your working day, minimal disruption to the office, and maximum comfort for the client. The company works within any work place environment office, club, film set, music studio, shop, and call centre and even trains! Rainbow Therapies are bringing massage out of the closet, away from the closed door, candle lit environment of expensive spas and pampering salons. Of course they still offer this!
Gay Jacobsen, founder of Rainbow Therapies has also been an enthusiastic networker in the business community and has been a staunch supporter of the Welsh Assembly Government’s Local Supplier Development Project since it began:
"The Rainbow Spa is a well known name in the area thanks to a long track record of very high quality service and the company is a regular face at Wrexham Borough County Council Health and well-being day’s. In the past we have supported many local charities and events kindly donating ‘Spot Prizes’ to networking evenings and have found the LSDP project highly useful in terms of finding new contacts and making new connections for business.
All members of Rainbow Therapies have a very similar story to tell of how they came to work with Rainbow wanting to offer their newly gained skills to help the local people access free or donation based therapy. This enabled us to expand as a group and become one of the most renowned companies to deliver high quality qualified staff to a wide range of Charities, Hotels, Wrexham Council staff, Healthy Schools, and pupils."
Jamie Edwards, Local Supplier Development Champion for Wrexham and Flintshire was delighted to see a local company making good progress with a new venture:
"Gay has gone from a not for profit community based venture to a commercial organisation and managed that process really well. Rainbow Therapies have been long standing supporters of the Local Supplier Development Project and we’re pleased to see the company continuing to grow and expand year on year!"
